STORY
The band Stavebný materiál was founded in 2004 in Moravské Lieskové. The original founders were Walter and Dôchodca. In the early years, Paťo, Marek, Tomáš, and Roman rotated through the lineup.
The first concert took place on Friday, April 13, 2007, in Trenčianske Bohuslavice. At the end of 2007, the first demo with eight tracks was recorded. In 2008, Barča joined the lineup on viola, which changed the band's sound. In the same year, the album Zmysel života was recorded and later christened by Floutek from the band Punk Floid.
After Roman, Mraw settled in on drums. The band's name was gradually shortened to Stavmat, and in 2009 the single Čo sa s nami stalo was released. After Mraw left, Dano took over the drums in 2010, and Barča also left the band in that same year.
The last concert was held on June 22, 2012, in Stará Turá, marking the official end of the band's activity.
